As on 25.11.2011, Krakchemia S.A. joined the members of PlasticsEurope Polska foundation. It is the foundation representing  the plastic raw materials producers in Poland, acting within the pan-European association of plastics producers, PlasticsEurope, with a seat in Brussels. Polish branch belongs to the Central Europe Region with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. The Region encompasses also Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

PlasticsEurope is the major European branch association, the seats of which are located in Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan and Paris. The association maintains contacts with European and domestic branch associations encompassing over 100 member companies, the overall share in the general polymer production  in European Union countries (EU27), including also Norway, Switzerland, Croatia and Turkey is as high as 90 per cent.

European plastic materials industry contributes to a large extent to the wealth growth in Europe through popularizing the innovative  solutions and enhancing the citizens` standard of life. Moreover, the industry enables effective usage of natural resources and the climate protection.

Above 1.6 m people employed in approximately 50 000 companies (mainly in the sector of medium and small companies active in the processing industry) generate the turnover of above 300 billion euro per year. The plastic materials industry encompasses polymer producers – represented by PlasticsEurope, processing companies – represented by EuPC- and machine producers – represented by EUROMAP.

On 30 November 2010 in Krakow held another meeting of the  TAURON Forbes & Business Forum series. KRAKCHEMIA SA participated in this meeting and received an award for socially responsible companies Forbes Regional Corporate Social Responsability Awards. Krakchemia. S.A. was distinguised as one of the laureates of Diamenty Miesięcznika Forbes 2010. The Company won a distinction in the category of Małopolska voivoidship companies, the revenue of which exceed 250 m PLN. The rankings of Diamenty Miesięcznika Forbes distinguishes the companies, which increase their value the most rapidly. On July 29, 2009 Krakchemia S.A. signed a contract with Wawa Medica Sp. z o.o. The subject of the contract is exclusive distribution of an upgrader for plastic raw materials production which bears the name of Velothene. By virtue of this agreement, Krakchemia S.A. is an exclusive distributor of the product on the territory of Poland.
Velothene is an additive to plastic raw materials which upgrades the quality of the product obtained and considerably decreases the costs of production process. The upgrader for polymers with such effects is an innovation on the Polish market.

On July 13, 2009 Krakchemia S.A. signed a trade agreement with Russian company BIAXPLEN HOLDING LLC, by virtue of which KRAKCHEMIA S.A. obtained an exclusive right to sell BIAXPLEN HOLDING LLC company products on the territory of Poland. BIAXPLEN HOLDING LLC is one of major producers active on the Russian polypropylene film market.

On the 28th of May, 2009, KRAKCHEMIA SA concluded a contract with Dospelplastics on a trade co-operation encompassing the sale of plastics processing machines. Within the contract, Krakchemia received the right of proxy in the sale of Dospelplastics assortment on the territory of Poland. The offer encompasses the Haitian injectors as well as the peripheral Shini devices. In the days, 26-29th of May 2009, KRAKCHEMIA SA participated again in the PLASTPOL Fair Trades in Kielce. For several years now, PLASTPOL International Fair Trades top the Polish Fair Trade Corporation ranking of the events amassing the highest number of foreign participating companies. This year, the fair trades collected nearly 670 companies from 30 countries, and it was visited by 16 000 people. KRAKCHEMIA stand cherished high interest not only among our long-term customers, but also among the new investors, both Polish and foreign. We had the pleasure to present you a wide range of plastic raw materials, chalk fillers as well as machines and peripheral devices for processing. It was a pleasure to host you at such a renown international fairs and we are convinced that our common conversations will bring us closer to a fruitful co-operation.

The Board of Krakchemia S.A. informs that on the day of 5 January 2007, Krakchemia concluded the preliminary conditional contract concerning the purchase of 100 per cent of the equity capital of Maximex Sp. Z o. o. (Joint Stock Company).

Granulate which is delivered in sacks or eight-packs on wooden pallets will be packed 1.375 t per pallet.
