Concluding a trade agreement with Dospelplastics

On the 28th of May, 2009, KRAKCHEMIA SA concluded a contract with Dospelplastics on a trade co-operation encompassing the sale of plastics processing machines. Within the contract, Krakchemia received the right of proxy in the sale of Dospelplastics assortment on the territory of Poland. The offer encompasses the Haitian injectors as well as the peripheral Shini devices. 13th International Plastic Raw Materials Fair Trades – PLASTPOL 2009-07-07

In the days, 26-29th of May 2009, KRAKCHEMIA SA participated again in the PLASTPOL Fair Trades in Kielce. For several years now, PLASTPOL International Fair Trades top the Polish Fair Trade Corporation ranking of the events amassing the highest number of foreign participating companies. This year, the fair trades collected nearly 670 companies from 30 countries, and it was visited by 16 000 people. KRAKCHEMIA stand cherished high interest not only among our long-term customers, but also among the new investors, both Polish and foreign. We had the pleasure to present you a wide range of plastic raw materials, chalk fillers as well as machines and peripheral devices for processing. It was a pleasure to host you at such a renown international fairs and we are convinced that our common conversations will bring us closer to a fruitful co-operation.

The Board of Krakchemia S.A. informs that on the day of 5 January 2007, Krakchemia concluded the preliminary conditional contract concerning the purchase of 100 per cent of the equity capital of Maximex Sp. Z o. o. (Joint Stock Company).

Krakchemia S.A. (Joint Stock Company) is a company with more than half-century tradition of activity in the chemical products trade. The company has close capital connections with its mother company – Alma Market S.A – which is quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Krakchemia has carried on its activity as a separate economic entity active in wholesaling since 2000. Its share capital amounts to 10 million PLN and the revenue Capital Group reached 279 million PLN in 2007.

Krakchemia S.A. belongs to the biggest Polish plastic raw materials distributors in terms of sale volume. In virtue of the three-party agreement concerning the sale and distribution, concluded with Basell Polyolefins Company N.V/S.A.- the leading world producer of polyolefines - and with Basell Orlen Polyolefin Ltd., the leader on the Polish production and sale market of polyethylene and polypropylene, Krakchemia has become one of three licenced Polish distributors for those companies. It poses a link between the abovementioned companies and dynamically developing small and medium companies active in the polyolefin processing market.

Krakchemia S.A. is active throughout Poland. Its domestic distribution market has been divided into three regions : Południowy (South), Centralny (Central) and Zachodni (West). Its headquarters are located in Kraków. You will also find here the central warehousing base, the area of which amounts to 6 300 square metres, whereas the other warehouses all over the country cover the area of 1 200 square metres. The logistics centre is located in Płock. New consulting and counselling agencies are being established all over Poland. Moreover, the own-brand distribution network is being extended.

The company possesses the transport fleet consistent with modern standards and binding security norms. The logistics solutions implemented, rational route and supply planning as well as modern computer system enable us to execute orders efficiently.

2004	The polyolefines distribution structure was created. The sale organisation structure is modified by establishing separate sections, that is Polyolefines; Films; Packaging & Industrial Materials; Chemical Agents for Construction Industry.
2004	September – Conversion of the trading company into joint stock company; change of name into Krakchemia S.A.
2004	October – Signing the three-party contract with Basell Polyolefins Company” N.V. (Belgium) and BOP Sp. z o.o. Polska concerning the sale and distribution of Basell products
